My dealer requires $500 down to place the order.

These guys do custom printing:  https://customtaylor33.com/shop/black-engineering-grade-reflective-rim-tape-all-vehicles/

I've liked the tape they sold me.

Thanks. Just ordered some of their rim tape in red. That will be a nice edition to the look. Thanks for the tip!

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: Sr/S Sr/F driver noise
« on: January 21, 2021, 03:44:26 AM »
Same experience here. My 2014 S was much quieter. My 2021 SR has upped the noise level. Wasn't sure what was causing it but good to know it's only the belt. I bought a belt tension tester and my belt is at the lower range for tension so not much can be done to alleviate that I assume. Hoping, as others have mentioned, that after some break in, the noise settles down more. I love my stealth when I ride!

Thanks for all the feedback. As Auriga mentioned, there is indeed a double flash of the green ready light at startup. So that is helpful to see.

I just bought a 2021 Zero SR + Power Pack. My dealer installed the Power Pack. I was wondering if there is a way to tell if the Power Pack has been installed correctly and working? On my display, I see Estimated Range and it seems lower than what I thought it might be with the extra battery. But maybe that calculation is not a good indicator as I believe it's based on several different factors. How can I tell if my bike is tapped into both batteries? Thanks.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Anyone using the Zero Commuter Screen?
« on: December 23, 2020, 10:43:32 PM »
Just purchased a Zero SR and was wondering if I should add a Zero Commuter Screen. The main reason would be to increase range by reducing drag, but not sure if this would do the trick. Maybe it's just meant for wind and rain protection? I'm in Colorado with 300 days of sun so wind/rain is not that big of a concern. Just wondering what anyone's experience has been if you have on installed. Thanks.

Great read. Thanks for the share. Just purchased a new Zero SR with the additional Power Tank. Will be doing some longer rides and this is some great info to help with my planning. Downloaded an EV app (PlugShare) to find charging stations more easily. And purchased a J1772 Charging Adapter so I can tap into more EV charging stations. Looking forward to how far I can take my new bike here in Colorado.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: Curious about clicking sound
« on: June 14, 2013, 06:21:11 AM »
I am experiencing a similar problem. Had the bike about a month. I hear the noise only when stopping, at a low speed right before a complete stop. Sounds like it is coming from near the motor. It's a metallic clicking noise and seems to have gotten louder over a short period of time. Could this be the key issue? Or has anyone learned anything new about this. I will be calling my dealer and having them look at it and it would be helpful to give them some idea of what the problem might be. Sounds like I should stop riding the bike in the meantime.

I LOVE this bike!  ;D

That storage area is one of the things that sold me on the bike. I shaped one of those cardboard cup holders to fit inside so now I can go to Subway and leave with a refill.

Brilliant! Must try this!  ;D

It should also protect against rain splash from the back tire, something that drives me crazy! Nice job.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / My Vanity Non-Vanity Plates
« on: May 24, 2013, 09:15:22 AM »
So I was going to spring for vanity plates for the bike. But decided the $60 one time charge and $25 per year surcharge was not going to be worth it. So I just had the DMV give me regular plates. Imagine my surprise with I realized I got vanity plates after all...ZEE!
