It wouldn't surprise me at all if Zero sold more SR's than they sell standard S models. At least to private customers.

From what I have seen and heard at my Zero dealer, this seems to be the case.

I was told my my dealer that Zero was making all of 60 SRs for 2014, and when they called me about the recall a few months ago, they said that they were calling all TWELVE of their North America SR owners. I don't think it's a very common machine; I've never encountered another one on the streets, though my dealer also tells me he sold one other here in San Diego.

I'm thinking every single SR owner is a member of this forum. :-)

Also, my dealer seems to be able to sell them as soon as they hit the showroom floor. I always figured that the SR was Zero's best 2014 model seller. (Not that I have any facts to back that up.)
