Hello,

I am trying to rebuild the battery but the BMS once powered off seem impossible to restart.
Would anybody

2 - or know how to reset the BMS once it is powered off for some time ?

Thanks in advance

Thank you. I posted a message on that last week, seems that I not alone.
Here what I read

The Zero cloud servers and the phone app are having a problem right now that started out of the blue on or near Friday 4/28. This is causing the "Evaluation version is over" error any time you try and access the Cypher store and it's causing registration issues as well. This applies to anyone using the Next Gen app afaik, it's not specific to your or your issue, just a bad coincidence. Zero said they are pushing a new Next Gen phone app update as a hot fix to resolve this. I had heard it was supposed to be released on Friday but I still don't see an update available here on the Google Play store in the USA at least. It's possible it's held up in extended app store review/testing as is unfortunately often the case with app updates, particularly those that change certs or trust relationships etc.

Same for me. Android. I did not do anyting so possible causes:
   - app incompatibility with an android upgrade ?
   - some component of the app using a demo version reaching its end of license time ? I heared salesforce did the application...
   - problem server side and some login/pwd have been wiped from the database N But the error happens BEFORE any login

Anybody had the following message ? It stays after reinstalling the app and before login/password (which i cant enter because the popup blocks it).

Bluetooth navigation bug not solved :-(

It says bluetooth connection solved. Did they solve this super annoying bug that cut the GPS navigation randomly while riding, forcing you to cut the engine to get it back ?

Because riding on nuclear is way cooler than on dead dinosaurs...

I'm really impressed...

I'm just gonna copy/paste from what they wrote:

Quote
Upon the first tests, 400 Amps were delivered at a charge rate nearing 5C which resulted in a blazing fast charge time of fewer than “10 minutes” for an additional 135 miles.

Good point. What's the math for DC ?

This news make no sense:
  - 5 minutes to charge 18.000 Wh needs 216 kilowatts power -
  - With a 110 Volts mains you need 1963 amps
  - Your cable would need a section of 40 cm in copper and still dissipate 10 kw of heat (that is what you need to heat a standard house)

This is my favorite post. Somehow interpreting people writing about DC fast charging to instead be level 1 AC and doing the math of how many amps you'd need.

The person who sold you the bike. Or any other. But if he owes you something, you have better chances of him reducing his margin for you.

+ : speed, look, design
 - : price, name in some countries : "hey do want to ride on my verge ?" https://dictionnaire.reverso.net/francais-anglais/verge

It looks like this is getting very close to production. Here's a review of the Verge TS (in Finnish but you can turn on subtitles). I think this is definitely the most interesting bike around, and unlike some others it looks like it will make it to production.

Hi ! Even Zero's communication only mentioned 2022 models for the  cypher options, 2021 models (I suppose 2019 & 2020 too but i did not check) can have parking and fast charging for less than the store price - reseller have the possibility to put them for less than the sticker price...

If you can't see that are you sure your sight is good enough to ride a 110 hp bike ?

What do you think regarding the new dash design now that you have it?

I am 57, so at night now presbyopia keeps me from reading the time of day and the SoC. I suppose the UI design team or the drivers/testers at Zero Motorcycles were all below 50 years of age.

They have chosen a font that is too small although there would have been enough unused space to use a bigger font.
Also, using the main circle to display the speed, in addition to the large digits, is redundant thus wasteful. It was more useful to get the SoC from there as well.

This is a great option I really like but:
  - when driving under a tunnel, nav data gets weird (would be better to assume bike stays on the same road as google nav does)
  - need the ability to avoid paying highways or fast ways
  - need ways to register 3 favorites (home, work, gf)
  - need to be able to change destination on tbe phone then start bike or with the bike on - let me decide if this is dangerous or not (it is not when stopped somewhere)
