I just have measured my '15 DS for you.
Full length including license plate 215 cm.
Height without the mirrors (you can take them off) 110 cm.
Handlebar 85 cm, without the mirrors.

Also consider that you could transport the bike diagonally in a van, and with the front wheel turned to make the overall length shorter. You could even remove the front wheel to make it lower and shorter.

For the smallest Fiat Doblo Cargo(latest model?), with a cargo area of 1820mmx1518mm(the website says width is 1518-1714, so I assume the narrow width is between the wheel arches), the diagonal length is 2369mm, so a 2150mm long bike should fit. And if it's 1820mmx1714mm, the diagonal length is 2500mm.

I got the cargo dimensions from this page http://www.fiatprofessional.co.uk/Models/Doblo_Cargo

I used this calculator to get the diagonal length http://ncalculators.com/area-volume/rectangle-calculator.htm

A ds will fit easily in a 6.5 foot bed just slightly diagonal with the rear wheel, tailgate closed

I would think it would fit in any decent sized van, you can always pull the mirros off to get some height advantage

Thanks for the calculation but I can loan a motortrailer and car. Saves me the money on renting a van.

No worries; it sounded like you wanted to keep the kilometres off of your car.

Actually I don't have a daily car any more since I got my motorcycle license, was immediately hooked and do everything on the bike nowadays.

Lol, fair enough. That's pretty cool, but I'd hate to live without having a car too.

Congrats! Now, that wasn't so difficult, was it? ;) I feel your pain, I had to pick up my bike from a dealer more than 800kms from me. That was a long and boring drive, and I was nearly falling asleep at 3am, after about 9hrs driving, before pulling over at a planned stop, all just to save $150!

It's so nice to see a few of your electrical devices hanging around the power point together!  :) My bikes sleep in the lounge room too.

Ditto. Who can argue with parking your bike and then turning to grab a bottle of wine before crashing on the couch to relax!

Thanks. Well it's only temporally until it's registered, after that it is has to spend the night in the shed.

Well what made it a bit sour for me is that I live only 30km from a Zero dealer. Ah anyway for maintenance I don't have to go far at least.

A thing that did surprised me is that the charging cable came with an US-plug and an adapter instead of an Euro-plug.

Also one thing which I haven't found the answer to yet. Where does the information for the odometer come from, the rear wheel or the motor/controller?
