Title: Backyard ride with MX Zero conversion

Here some piccs from my backyard riding today. The bike was a 2013 Zero XU in a MX conversion  :)

What suspension did you put on the front how did you get it to fit???

we take  a Honda Kayaba crf Fork with the original triple clamp set  and drill it down to the right dimension

How much did you have to drill them out?

Non on the top and a lot on the bottom??

we drill it down to M 24 and use some distance bush in the top

ahh just re read it so we and didn't see you took the triple clamp as well I did something similar had to machine a new bolt to hold the 14 triple clamp with the 13 bearings and then did the exact same thing with a shim on the top


Did you make an entirely new bolt or able to machine the crf bolt down enough to work? Well you had to machine down on lathe then rethread


Curious to see if you have any more pictures; when I get off work I'll post some of how I did mine to the 14/15 Zero S sized stuff


Impressive man!!!! You have me now trying to get my neighbors old crf 250 forks LOL

We machine down the Crf bolt and take the Zero bearings

My MX conversion, on the right (228 lbs, 44 / 56% F/R weight distribution), '14 FX on the left:

The seat and shock protector are from the '13 MX.  I kept the dash unit and headlights (running lights only) as I ride on the street to the trails.
