Rear Wheel Nut Replacement
« on: March 12, 2020, 05:17:45 PM »

Hi!

While I was trying to fix some vibrations and noises in my dsr 2020, I scratched a little the rear wheel nut. I am looking for a replacement but can't find any.
I think this it the exact item I need:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wheel-Nut-M20-1-5-15-2/dp/B00TPLAO8I

Is it?
Do you know where to find it in stock?

Thanks!

Thank you, it is cheap. However I have to add overseas shipping costs and taxes ^^

Your local Zero dealer should have it too, and you save the shipping.

That's a funny quote, because my dealer is new and the only one nearby and has no stock of anything, and they charge me 18€ for every accessory I order...

Mine doesn't charge me much more than AF1 does.

So clearly it varies!

Have you taken it to an ICE motorcycle shop to see what they have that is similar?
When I was racing, I always had the first model around so there were no parts available.
I would take the bike apart and go see what dealers had that would help me go faster.
When the Kawasaki Z1 came out, I could put HONDA 450 twin pistons in it to take it
out to 1045 CCs. The 650 would use HONDA 360 pistons to take it to 738 CCs.
Might be worth a shot. Might also check Automotive dealers. Could be similar size to
Axle Nuts.

Yes, thanks, that will be next step. Another thing I could try is this part:

It looks very cool! However it is more expensive.
