Hello together ,
yesterday i got my brand new SR from my local dealer "orangebc" in Karlsruhe.
Thanks to Mr. Kloiber here for the delivery earlier than estimated!
The short ride from the dealer back to home with red numbers had been a really great feeling...
One challenge is remaining :
I have to find an insurance which covers that new bike ...
and then i will burn some kWh :-))
The bike should be taxfree in germany for the next 10 years, i read.

Both bikes are insured at HUK-Coburg they will not have the bike in the system but find an agreement for the bike.
You will receive a paper from "Finanzamt" that your bike is 10 years Taxfree ;)
Most problems I had at the Zulassungsstelle with may FX - two years ago with may 2012DS I had no problems.
It is important to take your invoice to the Zulassungsstelle. I didn't know and had to come a second time. >:(

Yeah. They Asked me and I said zero. Computer did not take it. We settled on 1 or so. Lowest insurance possible:)
Now that is for my well ridden 2011. SR - keen and want to see how u a all r going with it.

I had similar experiences with HOG insurance policy in California. They had not recorded a risk code for electric motorcycles and had to review the specs on the Zero site, returning with a quote a few days later. My premium dropped ~15% from my previous HD XR1200 sporster, and that was only ~5 weeks ago.
It's fun being an early adopter, isn't it?
