Zero has announced a recall of 2020 SR/F and SR/S models for defective front brake switches. The recall involves bikes produced from February 14, 2019, to June 19, 2020, and VINs from 538ZFAZ73LCK11327 to 538ZFBZ77LCL15258.
The NHTSA ID for this recall is 20V704. Attached is a copy of the Defect Notice supplied to NHTSA by Zero. According to the notice, owners should receive notification letters no later than the week of November 30.

Has anyone affected by this recall received their official notification in the mail (not the Email)? According to the information posted on the NHTSA website, letters were to have been mailed the week of November 30.

Reseller should received yesterday the replacement part, but no more information, so i think he hasn't

My bike has been in the dealer since Tuesday. It's Thursday & I haven't heard a peep from them. Starting to wonder what's going on

A switch only takes a few minutes to actually swap, doesn't it? I mean, there's the whole it needs a bay, you have to take the lever apart, not drop the little springs, and so it takes time prepping and testing but... Seems like it should be an in and out thing, like a oil change.

I picked up my bike yesterday. I called them. They said it was done on Friday but they were having phone problems so that's why they didn't call. Good thing it's not riding season

A certified thing was attempted to be delivered to my house, and I also received an email. I was not at home to receive the letter and havent gone to get it.

I just received my certified letter today. Had to sign and everything.
Same content as the email.

Had mine replaced yesterday along with the annual service - mechanic said the switch replacement took him about 20 minutes
