Jeff Taylor converted this 1972 Kawasaki F7 175 into a 24 volt electric moped/motorcycle. Top speed on flats is 25 mph, distance range with two, 40 amp, lead acid batteries is 8 miles on hilly terrain. Charges to full in 3 hours with the lead acid batteries. Conversion used a Mars Etek 0708 motor, Alltrax AXE 48-44 programable controller, 4.8 to 1 ratio (12 teeth front, 58 teeth back), total weight of the bike is 235 pounds. This bike can be up graded with lithium batteries for greater distance and a top speed of 50 mph.

fun, are you planning on upgrading to four batteries to get a bit more range/speed out of it, doubling what you get would get me to work at least, lol, nice conversion
