Noticed a bit of goo landed on my screen while riding and I made the terrible mistake of not realizing how abrasive the fingertips of my gloves are. Derrp.
So now I've got some annoying scratches in the surface. If it hadn't been blazing hot I doubt it would have happened but now I've inflicted upon myself the worst punishment ever for those who enjoy OCD.
There are any number of 3m films that would gloss these out and provide a more sturdy top layer - but my scissor skills have atrophied since grade school so I'd much rather purchase a pre-cut film if possible. Failing that it'd be nice to find a template at least.
Anyone else made this mistake?

Yep, I managed to scratch my screen pretty easily. If there was a treatment or film that could fix it that would be great.

I believe 3M (and there are other brands), makes several types of clear paint surface protection films that should work. Some types have a sticky back and others just attach with static friction and are easily removable.

Yeah the film is really no problem - the challenge is creating a template that I can cut it out from.
Anyone have a LIDAR scanner handy? :-)
