Title: Need help to fix my Vectrix bike
Post by: muhaymanj on June 21, 2018, 10:13:54 PM
Hi guys
I have owned a Vectrix bike for about 9 years, and it has worked beautifully all this time; but it has now developed an electrical fault and I am no longer able to charge it.
Basically, the problem is that when I plug it in to charge, it incorrectly senses that the battery is fully charged, and therefore automatically switches itself off
So the charge in it has now run out, and I am unable to charge it up again
I am based in Northolt, in West London.
Is there anyone still available in the UK who knows how to fix a Vectrix bike ?
Any thoughts / suggestions ?
Thanks

Alex at GoinGreen, near you in Heathrow works on any EV, and prides himself on keeping esoterric start up vehicles going after the producer has gone bankrupt. He also converts classic cars to electric. He had never worked on a bike before but did a fantastatic job on my Zero, replacing the encoder.
