After all this rain talk it's pouring and I hafta be in San Jose...
An hour and a half is pushing my motorcycling skills, let alone through the mountains in the rain.
And was that thunder I just heard?
Yes. That was thunder and lightning x-x

Being a former Buell owner I have to ask...are you sure it wasn't a Lightning or some other Buell chasing after you in the rain? ;)
But yeah...the weather reports earlier this week had me thinking about rain but I ended up working remotely today for additional reasons besides the rain (I hate driving my car in commute traffic, especially wet weather commuting).

Be safe out there. I saw reports of snow at the summit.

Yes! Snow! They didn't say anything about snow!
I took off after the thunderstorm in the lee of the storm. So it was fine! I wasn't even wearing my thermal layer like the night before 'cause raingear is just warm itself. Skipped the lookout 'cause I was doing fine and it was windy so it would've just made me colder. I got to the summit and my visor kept fogging over and I was like, 'I'm not breathing heavy, what gives?' then hit the summit and it was... Snow!
It was snowing more on the valley side, so I was going down the hill with it. Didn't see but two cars for the entire roll down into Saratoga Village.
Made it to San Jose safe and sound.

Glad to hear it.
Those were some bursts of rain and thunder, weren't they?
Glad the snow didn't affect you too badly.

Yeah, I made sure to take off between the bands of heavy weather.
I need to get a cam for my bike 'cause you can't stop and take photos in sloppy weather like that!
