Title: Neutral Regen
Post by: JaimeC on March 18, 2020, 07:37:55 PM
Ever since I got my 2018 S model, I felt like the 100% neutral regen setting I had in my custom settings wasn't working properly.  I felt more deceleration on throttle roll off in "ECO" mode than in my "Custom" mode.  This was NOT the case with my 2016 S model where throttle roll off produced significantly more deceleration in "Custom" vs "ECO."

On a hunch, I knocked down the value from 100% to 98% and NOW it feels more like my old 2016.  I am completely up to date on both the bike's software AND my app so I'm wondering if everyone has noticed this, or is it just me?  It sounds like a software bug...

Yes, I also noticed that. Eco mode has a stronger regen than custom mode at 100%. I have not tried the 98% setting you mention, but will do later. Anyway I don't use custom regen at 100%, but 50%, because coasting is more efficient that regen. Cheers!

That is not the case for my 2018 S.  Custom mode set at 100% regen on my bike is noticeably stronger than when using eco mode.   ???
