I'm still close to buying a 2012 S-ZF9, as soon as we can get insurance issues sorted out here in Ontario. I have a question for you all. I have a Trek hybrid electric-assist mountain bike and I notice that the power delivery gets wonky once the battery depletes to about half capacity (surging and uneven power delivery). It basically means I have to recharge twice as often because it becomes so annoying below half-capacity. It's not like this was a cheap bike either. Any such issues with the 2012 S? I'd hate to pay all that money to have the same unpleasant issues.

no issues. all the way fine - that is already on the older 2010 and 2011 models that I rode/ride.

I don't have any problems like that with my 2012 ZF9 Zero S - I am happy to report. :)

Same. I believe at least the 2012 models are designed to provide full power up until you get the blinking bar of death..
The farthest I've drained the pack is down to 2 bars, and noticed no difference in power delivery at 2 bars as at 11 (full) bars.
