Title: Eco / Sport switch not existing on the 2010 and 2011 DS zero?
Post by: Doctorbass on April 21, 2013, 08:14:35 AM
Hi guys, i know there is few model that have this switch, but i have the 2010 and 2011 zero DS and they dont...

Does someone know where it usually connect and if the DS 2010 and 2011 MBB is compatible?

I huess it's a 3 wire switch so i need 3 connections on teh MBB I/O ?

The switch is only two wires (SPST). The connection between the wires is closed when in ECO mode, open in SPORT. Other than that I don't know what the connection is to the MBB, somebody else will have to address that issue.

It is a Sevcon feature.

The Sevcon has a baseline setting and 2 driveability settings. You can program each driveability map to a digital input. Zero only use driveability 1 for ECO and if you don't select this input port it will use baseline (SPORT). (therefore they don't need three wires)

Additional Zero lead the switch through the MBB because in ECO mode they reprogram the Sevcon.
