I found that Monoprice carries 14AWG Power Cords in several different lengths (1 to 25 feet) for $1 to $13.
Look for "Power Cords w/ 3 Conductor PC Power Connector"

Having just purchased a 25-foot long "light-weight" 16 gauge power cord at OSH for emergencies that I have stuffed into the frame hole on my 2012 S, I can tell you that the on-bike storage of an extension cord is limited by its gauge and length. If you want to use the frame tube to store a cord, you have to pick a length and gauge that can be folded tightly enough to fit. I would say that 15 feet of 14 gauge cord is about the maximum length that can be stuffed into the frame. If you get the recommended 12 gauge, you are probably limited to something like 8 feet. A 12 gauge cord doesn't bend very well.
I have bought a couple of power cords from Monoprice, via Amazon, and found their products to be of good quality and price, but shipping was a little slow.

I have three of the Monoprice 25' 14 ga cords that I have been using for about a year and they work fine. While I was up north riding last week I could feed the long cord through the window of my room and plug it in, with the FX sitting outside away from the building.

Please be careful. We have had customers plug in unsuitable cords that melted because they weren't designed for this purpose. I look for ones rated to support at least 15 amps.

i purchased one of these but i'm still waiting for their "overnight" delivery company they use. others might not want to be cheap like me in the future. again, aaron (working at zero but here as a member) thanks for watching out for us all. :)

Feeling the heat, notably on the plugs, on a pretty good 14-Gauge cord rated 15-A makes me very worried about 16-guage.
I have 2 main cords permanently in place both at home and office leaving the official cord for spare/emergencies.
Instead of a longer cord - Mains (male NEMA 5-15P) to PC ( 3 prong female IEC C13), How about sticking a regular (15 ft?) extension cord (14-Guage male-Nema to female Nema ) in the second tube?

I tried out my 25 foot-long 16 gauge extension while charging at 950 watts and noticed a 4 volt drop between the wall and the charger. The plug only seemed to get slightly warm. So I'll use that cord for an emergency charge, but at home I use a 6' 14 gauge cord.

The 25 foot 14 gauge works very well. Never noticed the cord getting hot and I use it all the time. The short cord stays in the bike.
