Title: Alice's Restaurant Zero news
Post by: Richard230 on November 15, 2015, 05:23:53 AM
So I was up at Alice's Restaurant (a motorcycle rider hangout located at the junction of State Highways 35 and 84 in the Santa Cruz Mountains, south of San Francisco, which is located about 50 miles north of the Zero factory) this morning and one of the owners told me that Richard Walker and another one of his executives had visited the restaurant earlier in the week to check it out as a potential location to promote their motorcycle line. He told me that they were just looking around, but it would make a nice place for them to host a Zero "open house" of some sort.  It could get some good press and there is always lots of motorcycle riders that might be interested in test riding a Zero in the area - if the weather is nice that day. Hopefully something comes of this visit.   :)

Well, that's good to hear! Certainly that'd expose hundreds of riders to the bikes.

Hopefully there will be more outlets available than the circular NEMA outlet (which I don't have an adapter for) and the one stray 120V socket cord, because the 120V socket at the gas station across the road is completely unusable now. :)

I saw that Scot Harden was at Alice's "on business".  A Zero open house there sounds like a good idea.

Alice's is a great motorcycle cross roads in the Santa Cruz Mountains,

I think Zero has taken media there before to burn through off of Zero's range.
