This deserves it's own topic:
There will be an eMoto race at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ over the weekend of July 14-16 held in conjunction with the AHRMA Vintage Motorcycle Festival and Swap Meet. I plan on being there on my Zero (I will be trailering to my friend's house in Marlton and riding from there to the track each day).

I know I'll be there all day Saturday and most of the day on Sunday. I'll see if I can think of something to wear that'll make me stick out. Something other than "black leather jacket and jeans..."

By the way, you'll know if I'm around if you see a Zero S with "Woodstock" on the tank. That, and blue "Sunpower" stickers on the sides of the battery monolith..

Well, I have the trailer all ready to go, so after I have dinner tomorrow night I'll be heading down to my friend's place in Marlton, NJ. I'll be at NJMP Saturday and Sunday for the AHRMA and eMoto races. There's also a Swap Meet going on (though I doubt there'll be much for my Zero for sale).
Hope I get to meet some of you guys. I'll be around!

I met two very dedicated collegiate teams today, one from Virginia Tech, and one from Sherbrooke University (Quebec). They both had some very interesting prototypes they were racing. The VT bike took off like a scalded cat at the start and was probably the fastest bike on the track, but it stopped running for some reason on the last lap. That left the entry from Sherbrooke to take the win. There were three other private entries too... two Empulses and a HEAVILY modified Zero SR. They all managed to finish. Hoping the VT guys can exorcise the gremlins that cost them the win and do better tomorrow.
I rode from my friend's place in Marlton to the track very conservatively and arrived with 63% charge left in the battery. MORE than enough for the return trip but I had another "gift" on arrival: LOTS of spare outlets to plug into. I was able to leave at the end of the day with 100% charge!

I don't think they were "permanent," they looked like they were set up for the event (scattered all over the field). Most of them were used by the competitors for their camper/mobile homes.
