Title: Paint color
Post by: Bstechnic on August 03, 2017, 02:52:18 PM
Hello,

Does anybody know the color code yellow from the 2017 model?
I want to paint something in the same color.

Thanks Bjorn

It took a while for me to follow up on this, but Zero reps were kind enough to comment off the record and OK it for publishing, so I've added them to the manual:

I know Zero has a new CEO and they love to put their own mark on the company.  But the 18 colors pretty much all miss the mark.
I've posted this before but in case someone's watching.
The bikes are mostly ala carte now (the charge tank is a factory only option) so just mold an unbadged tank that is painted what ever color the customer wants and paint on the model badge.
Want a white DSR, ok.  Want an orange SR, ok and so on.
That was part of the benefit to using paint and not just the molded plastic.

Thanks for the paint chart though Brian your giving Haynes a run for their money.

I have damaged my tank and front fender. I like that color yellow and I want the same color. I like to paint it in the same color or I have to paint the backend also. But I can't find a receipt in Europe.
