Don't know if Vespa is happy but observe that it at least says "happy" on the display. ;)
Anyway, I've tried it. Pretty relaxed comfortable ride and the white one looks great in real life.

There are a lot of little scooters around Denver and most of them seem to be "Vespa-inspired". I really don't think Vespa cares. (And I don't think Vespa invented that style.)

Considering what Vespa charges for their scooters, which have the same motors and drive train as the Piaggio scooters, which sell for a lot less (without the Vespa styling) you would think that they would care.  ;)
