Title: Energica Eva on display at AF1 Racing in Austin, Texas
Post by: af1 racing on February 14, 2018, 05:25:14 AM
We got an Energica Eva to display a few days ago, and will soon have a demo.

We technically have to say it's "not for sale" since the state paperwork process is not done yet, but read between the lines.....an Ego model will soon follow.

So excited about the brand, and what they are doing.  The bike is a work of art.  Top shelf suspension and Brembo radial brakes, OZ forged wheels, and carbon bits all over it.  Onboard 20kw charging, and full color TFT dash.  So many components are the same as we find on our higher-end Aprilia bikes.  They rate their battery size differently than Zero, they go by usable capacity like the car companies report, not total like Zero.

Thanks for posting the comment about battery size. I am picking up a Eva 107 later this week and that was one of the things I am really curious about. I currently have a 2016 SR with PT so it seems like the Eva will have longer range than my Zero since usable battery with PT is only about 10.5 kWh.
