Zero MX 2011 BMS
« on: September 05, 2015, 11:56:26 PM »

Hi Guys,

Does anybody know how to disable the BMS on the 2011 MX. I checked all the cells and they seem fine. But When I put the battery in the bike it doesn't boot up and the throttle is disabled. Its an older bike that I'm looking to replace with a FX next year so I don't want to put a lot of money in it. If I can just by pass the BMS and manually monitor charging and discharging that would be great!

That sounds very dodgy and potentially dangerous.  The BMS issues need to be addressed.  I would recommend you contact Manny Chetcuti at Zero and talk to him about it, that won't cost you anything to ask.  Give them time to get back to you and he should help with your problems...

Good luck with it.

Cheers,
Cam
