Zero Soft Sadlebags
« on: April 03, 2020, 12:51:10 AM »

Hi,
I'm thinking of buying these:

My dealer sells these for €172 ($186).

Does anyone has experience with these (how do they attach???) or a picture of a bike with them mounted? I cannot find a picture with them on a bike anywhere on the net...

I've never seen them and would love to hear how they fare.

I'm about to buy some soft saddlebags for my FXS and looked hard at those.  They aren't big enough for my needs though.  Revzilla has several options available.

Which Zero do you have?  Because of the FXS back end, I have to be careful something doesn't hang too low and hit the tires.  Right now my choice du jour are these, but I'm still researching.

I've got these with my SR/F, but have not found a way yet (no instructions included with my set) to secure them to my liking (probably my fault). They always seem to hang off in one or the other direction ...

Rain covers included (safely stored behind a zipper, permanently fastened with an elastic strap).

Can you elaborate or take a picture on how these fasten to the bike? In the picture above it looks like they just drape over the seat? Sounds very unsafe to me?

No extra bars needed? Available for DSR? Thanks!

Sorry, currently not able to : bike not available for the past month, waiting for it to be repaired (bad battery/BMS/...).

Oh ok, no problem. Could you enlighten us how they stay onto the seat and not slide off?

If the description is anything to go by, the straps go under the seal.

Contents :
- saddlebags with 2 large straps (one rain cover shown ; these are securely stored in a separate pouch, closed with a zipper) ;
- 2 protectors ;
- 6 separate straps ;
- an installation leaflet (so there was a manual after all), unfortunately - for me - without pictures.

May I upload these to the unofficial manual? Thanks.
