Zero parts
« on: January 09, 2021, 05:22:12 AM »

Hello everyone,

So I was out riding and hit some gravel causing my fairly new Zero to crash. Luckily I wasn’t going that fast and both me and the bike got away with only minor injuries. However one of the mirrors broke off and I need to find the proper part to fix it. I can find the part number (65-03463) but I’m having no luck finding somewhere to buy it from. Anyone got a good US source for Zero parts?

Thanks,
Levin

You will find lots of adaptable mirrors on the market too that might be as good or even better. You only need to check the diameter, there are several standards.

Thanks for the AF1 link. They seem to have everything but that right hand mirror mount that I need. They even have the left hand one, and both mirrors (but miraculously the mirror survived just fine it was the mount that broke). So perhaps I’ll have to go talk the Triumph dealership where I bought the bike and see if they can get it unless someone knows of other online places that sell Zero parts.

Thanks again,

Are you sure about that part number?  I looked it up on AF1's site, and it's a turn signal, not a mirror mount:  https://is.gd/NUmhjE

Did you look at the parts diagram on that site?  You don't say what model you have. but here's the parts lists for the S/SR models:  https://is.gd/6awbQg

Ducati mirrors work, tho that's hardly helpful, I know ^-^

But AF1 was really helpful when they sent me the wrong one!

Yeah that was the wrong part number for the mount. I also broke the clear  cover on the turn signal and also needed to pick that up. I was able to look up the mount part on AF1 but wasn’t able to locate it on their website till I specifically looked it up using their search feature. I guess it’s a generic part rather than a Zero specific one which is why it wasn’t listed under their “Zero Spare Parts” tab.

Again thanks everyone for the help.

Take care,

I second this.  This also gives you the option to start a color / pattern coordinated mod strategy...

I went with these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B3CJ29G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And added these (convex mirrors) on both sides:  https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B074V5YH5T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And these extenders:  https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B075TFPPQ4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And now, I've got the angle to see directly behind me on both the left and right sides (even around my rear box) and can use the smaller convex mirror as a double check on my blind spot.  (Note - I still signal and look before changing lanes, etc. so I don't rely completely on the mirrors... Better safe...)
