Hello and first time posting here.  I searched and didnt see what I was looking for.

I am in the process of restoring this bike back to the street. Its been tagged and registered every year but the last 9 years its been garaged.  As you know Zero isnt any help. I have modified a few ebikes in the past and they turned out great.  I want to rid this DS from everything in the battery box.  I have an idea to use the SR72500 AllTrax controller along with my own custom battery with built in BMS.  I am just wondering how you found the throttle wires and what configuration battery should I go with as for a 72v Battery.. How many amps should I get for AH and BMS?

Also if anyone else has done this please let me know. Thank you

FYI - I do have the original battery box at a shop my friend owns, he wanted to rebuild the battery using the latest Prius cells.  With all the horror stories I see online about Zero's electronics, BMS, and MBB I rather do away with it.
