This is great.  I was worried they were going to stop with the magic docks with every other manufacturer adopting their connector.

But even if that were true, there would be no problem because then this would be made sooner (now, because of Magic Dock,
we cannot be sure if it will ever be made):

BTW, if the older Tesla Superchargers are not updated (internal hardware), they will NOT have the Magic Dock.

And some of those are at very needed locations, such as Lake Topaz, NV and Incline Village, NV.  The only CCS charger near Incline Village has been broken for almost a year and is just a few feet from ten working Tesla Superchargers which will NOT be compatible with Magic Dock unless they make major changes inside them.

It's only the newer V3 and V4 Tesla Superchargers that are compatible with Magic Dock. I assume the same for that adapter.

So Magic Dock may not be a great answer to the problem in many areas--at least not for quite a while.

You can already buy those adapters (maybe not that brand).

In Europe for CCS-2. Not here in the USA for CCS-1.

If such was sold here, I would already own it.

They are available in the US.  I don't know how you'd use it though.  I think the only Superchargers that will allow you to use them, already have the dock.  If you just buy the adapter, I don't think it will do any good.

Please show me a link where Tesla to CCS-1 is available. The opposite is common, CCS to Tesla, which does me no good.

There are the many coming soons, such as here. So at least they will be available-someday.

In the USA, by far, most Superchargers that are compatible with Magic Dock do NOT have it--- yet.

How and where can you use one? Seems pointless to buy so far. I don’t see a single SC in my region that’s open to non Teslas. Are you confusing SC with destination chargers?

No, I have more adapters for Tesla destination stations (Tesla Destination to J-1772)  than I can count. I am not sure how I ended up with so many of those. I also have a few  of the opposite, J-1772 to Tesla, since I do own a Tesla.

The Tesla Supercharger does NOT really have to be open to anything other than their normal Teslas if you have the Tesla Supercharger to CCS1 adapter (does not exist yet, other than the few Tesla Magic Docks). It is even difficult to search for because there are a few thousand or so different types of CCS-1 to Tesla adapters and they and the CHAdeMO adapters have been around for years, unlike the Tesla to CCS1 adapter which is not yet available anywhere. I would gladly pay a thousand bucks for one, but the way it is going, they may not ever be necessary, it really depends on Tesla and their Magic Dock and their other mostly unknown plans.

All that should be needed is the adapter and the Tesla App and, in the app, go to "Charge my non-Tesla".  If you do NOT already own a Tesla, you will also have to set up a Tesla account for them to charge you for charging at Superchargers. This is with the Magic Doc or with the adapter that is not yet available. I have been on the waiting list for that adapter for more than a year.

It is not clear if the Tesla Supercharger to CCS1 adapter will work on the oldest Superchargers. Tesla will have to modify the older Superchargers to make the adapters work. So a lot of this is still unknown, but we can all be sure there are some big changes coming fairly soon.

Ah, that’s where I think you’re assuming something, which I believe is not true. I don’t think you can charge at existing SCs yet. My app doesn’t show any in the west.

Also, note where it says there:

"This Supercharger is open to Tesla vehicles and non Tesla vehicles with CCS compatibility."

Also, check the type of cars charging there. And motorcycles, including my Enegica Experia.

Swampnut, from my recollection.  The Supercharger stations, they have to see the car next to them, there is some sort of communication and identification, and that turns the station on to charge the car.  Otherwise, there is no other external turn on device that I am aware of.

The easiest way I think would be to have an app, which uses your phones bluetooth, wifi, etc etc. to talk to the station, or scan a barcode or something to turn it on for the non tesloids wanting to use the station.  One would still need the dongle thing, which IS available on E bay for those not too lazy to look, to convert from Tesla to CCS-1.   Even though there is not currently a use for them on superchargers, they CAN be used on other chargers that may have a tesla tap, but not a CCS1 on it.

Overall, the more chargers we can get, of any type, that can do CCS charging, the better it will be for all Energica users, as a fairly quick stop can top off another 100 miles of range in under an hour.  I did a run saturday, ran about 80 miles, they had a CCS in the location, was able to top it back off in what I could squeeze in about 50 minutes, which was plenty to let me run around town a bit, and get back home with still 23 percent to spare at highway speeds.

If you NEED to get somewhere fast, yah spending 40 minutes may seem like an eternity, but if you are doing a poker run, or something just running about, spending an hour here, hour there is no big deal really.  Grab a drink, take a bite to eat, stretch your legs, etc, you'll be back on the road before you know it.
