I had a chance to talk to Todd Kollin this weekend at eGrandPrix. Among other things he explained that they are bringing out a $4500 version of the GPR-S that will be sold under the Native Cycles name. http://nativecycles.com/

The entry-level model starts at $4500 and can cover about 25 miles with the 2.5-kilowatt-hour lead-acid battery. With 15 hp, the standard bike is good for about 50 mph. Buyers can increase the speed and range with a 3-kwh lithium-ion battery and 50-hp motor. This is the same company that built the Isle of Man winning electric racer. So far, it has sold 50 of the production versions.

So far they have sold 50. Wonder if they mean 50 GPR-S in general? Last weekend was the first I heard of the $4500 version. Did you all know about it?

well it's a good intro price, but with used zero bikes going for 10% more that is what I would be looking for rather than lead acid.

their web site doesn't even have pricing, they really need to work on marketing.
