I have ridden nearly 20,000 miles on electricity. I have ridden hundreds of thousands miles on gas-powered bikes. I therefore declare myself to be more knowledgeable about electric vs. gas bikes than most everyone that has posted here. Gas bikes are fun. Electric bikes are fun. There are pros and cons. If you can't have both, make a list and decide which one is for you. After you decide on one or the other it is not necessary to vilify the one you didn't choose. Grow up a bit.
