I don't doubt that ABS works.

I do ride wet roads on occasion and have been for many years without incident.   I adjust speeds and distances as required for the conditions.  Lack of ABS is yet to hurt me.

I would still prefer my bikes to be non ABS and lower cost but soon we will probably have a no choice in new motorcycles as they will just start coming with ABS:  and a higher price tag.

Well, the ABS is really there for you in a panic brake situation, not ones everyday riding, damp or not.

In the previously posted video they do a straight line panic brake, I'd like to see the same test but where the driver also steer away from an imagined obstacle, as if avoiding a car or pedestrian. Anyhow, it was interesting to see the same test performed by three different drivers, quite a big difference.
