Just as an aside, you can also use the Elcon 2500W charger with a 110V outlet and it charges at 1.5kW.  (So 8kW charge would take 5hr 20min.)

I think you have to specifically ask for that. Ordered one for a client and we had to send it back to be programmed correctly they need to now in advance.

Not a problem for me. Most power around here is over 240V so i can pull over 3KW from any old household socket.
