Rearsets for Zero S or SR

Has anyone added after market rearsets to their Zero S or SR 2013/14?

I'm looking to get more ground clearance for track days and the stock pegs sit at the bottom of the frame meaning they scrape at moderate lean angles.

I was looking at getting some Vortex rearsets to suit a Yamaha R1 (the R1 versions have a separate rather than integrated clutch lever) and machining an adaptor plate that would attach to the bottom of the frame (existing peg bolt hole and hole for accessing the motor mount bolts).

I noticed Kenyon Kluge had some adaptor plates to fit rearsets to his 2013 S.

Is that an air duct for better motor cooling on the right side? I still find it very odd that Zero doesn't provide something like that on their bikes, particularly the higher-power ones.

Yes, it is.

Most of the Zero racers last year were using a ram-air type induction system for better motor cooling.

Race applications are more demanding than street riding .. but it'd be nice to see race improvements make their way to the street.

I remember the 2011 had air leading tubes - I still wounder why Zero didn't kept this!

Of course racing is more demanding than street riding. But I and others have at least flashed the "motor overheating" light, in my case just cruising home on the freeway on a very hot southern California day. Why NOT mold a cooling duct into the plastic work? Is there a downside? I can't think of any.
