Exchange charger
« on: February 16, 2015, 12:05:56 AM »

Hello

Would in my 2012 Zero DS like to change the original charger under the battery pack with a 2 or 3 kW charger.
Is there a charger manufacturers is compatible with the Zero BMS?
Or someone knows the pin assignment the charger plug and data format?

Check out the Elcon chargers.

http://www.elconchargers.com/products.html

Not sure if they would fit or not as I have no idea on the size of the standard 1.3 kw charger on the Zero.

Hollywood Electrics can get these and program them for you.

Elcon are building some as well but if you don't mind with size there is some great deal here: http://electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=4399.0

We have engineered a charging solution using the Elcon charger. Our solution is plug and play and interfaces with the BMS to protect your investment. We throttle it down to 2300W due to the size of the factory charging fuse. Feel free to email me for more information. harlan at hollywoodelectrics.com
