Hollywood Electrics is now Energica dealer.

Hollywood Electrics is now an Energica dealer according to a report on motorcycle.com. Can't wait to see what kind of performance Harlan and his gang can get out of an Ego once they start tinkering!

Lol if they decided to pump even more power out of it they might be also selling life insurances along with the bikes.

Here is an article on Motorcycle.com's blog.

The Ego already has the CCS (SAE Combo) charger on it and here is a map of CCS stations around LA.  Looks like they are in good shape!

Hollywood Electrics  already launched product pages for Energica. This is exciting! Even if it's too pricey and the form factor doesn't work for me. :)

I think just about any news of an electric motorcycle with good charging options is exciting now. The more they sell, the more attention the vehicle class will get.

Nice bikes, but a little out of my price range.   ???

I hope Hollywood sells a bunch, though.  I wonder if Jay Leno needs another motorcycle?   ;)

I am curious what if anything Lightening will do now with Energica soon to be selling bikes in the same price point. The Ego has a lot of features the Lightening doesn't have and is actually working on building a dealer network. I think a lot of potential customers Lightening might have had will buy an Ego just because it is available. And people like Harlan will answer emails if you have a question. Have tried several times to get questions answered from Lightening and have never gotten a response.

*Lightning.  :D

Lightning isn't homologated.  Bottom line.  It can't be sold as anything but a custom bike, to my knowledge.

According to this article the first production Energica Egos have been delivered to a Swiss dealership.  It also looks like the Ego has not yet arrived at Hollywood Electrics:  http://blog.motorcycle.com/2015/08/04/motorcycle-news/first-energica-motorcycles-being-delivered-to-dealers/
