Streetbike's 2014 DS Police Bikes
« on: November 05, 2015, 01:43:33 PM »

I rang in and Charlie mentioned they had orders for three already. They're getting four shipped over so there'll be an extra one in stock. Tempting!

Civilian I imagine. I don't think Streetbike are a channel for anything but the dirty unwashed public. Sorry, I meant retail... [emoji6]

Enjoy your test ride today Justin. I was planning to get up there today but my wife suggested I swapped days. It should work better because I was already getting worried that there would only be half a charge by the time I got to have a go.  I'll try not to break this one...

I'll be there next Saturday now, as the weather was a bit rubbish and I did'nt fancy riding through it.
If your there next Sat we can meet up.

Don't blame you, I did wonder about the weather. I'm still planning to get up there tomorrow but will let you know if my plans change.

One year on from my last trip to Streetbike, a lot of development and I'm still as enthusiastic as ever. That's despite owning the big VFR for just over a month... Nothing wrong with the VFR either, I love it!

They are mate. Fancy meeting up tomorrow? We could even ride there together as you're on my way up the M1. You can have first dibs on the full battery. If you can leave me with 40% or so, that'll be plenty.

Sure, if they are open, then we can ride up. You can take a look at ol'yellow at the same time. :)

Sounds like a plan! PM or email me your address and I'll detour on my way. I take it you're not riding to Brum on the ol'yellow? If you are we can meet at a service station, or at Streetbike. I'm aiming to get there for 11. I'm easy with whatever. [emoji4]

The website says there is an SR for sale. £11k. It would be interesting to compare my S and a new SR.

We'll be there around 11am if you want to join us. Splitting the charge across three test rides might pose a bit of a challenge, that's all.

I'll have my Elcon with me, so I could offer to charge the SR with that.

Be good to see you there, you got the black 2014 right?
