OK - so I'm a newbie too.  Both to Forums and electric bikes.  I can't seem to figure out how to intiate a question, but mines the same as Greg's.  I have a 1973 BSA I've wanted to restore and with all the buzz about electric, thought I would power with electricity.  I would like to be able to have a range of 40-50 miles @ 50-60 Mph.  Don't have a clue where to start/  Motor? batteries? controller? chain sprokets?  Are there suppliers for nuts like us? Any advice would be great.  I two other motorcycles - both BMW's - R1200 GS and K1200GT.  My wife have toured for 40 years, been all the lower 48 states.  Am working on 400,000.
