(last connector is RJ45 to DB9 ... Next time I will likely just use a DB9 cable and cut it instead of going this route)

This is awesome. Thank you! We'll get this on the unofficial manual soon.

At EMF-Power.com we use these:

Also, if people need IXXAT cables (More stock incoming):

I had something like that for my last build but this time I wanted to try something different. I suspect your water resistant solution for the programming connection is also far cheaper than my MIL spec water proof solution. I have had bad experiences with moisture / rain on the controller and the amp seal connector so I went this way.

Do you have a link to the connector used for your amp seal side of programming? My connectors are about ~$16/each side >__< But they feel solid.

I used to use 3-pin connectors (switched to 4-pin). They're Delphi Metri-Pack 150 series.
https://www.waytekwire.com/manf/45/DELPHI/&sc=19&Series=150-Series?gclid=CjwKCAjw2dvWBRBvEiwADllhn7B8CpqajEAdbZiATv63kJTso6EXKpond7AYW3HIs7Snx7tlPe1kghoC0LMQAvD_BwE

How many conductors do you NEED? I have a ton of 2-pin male-side connectors I ordered wrong that I can give to whomever wants em. I'm low on the 3-pin connectors.

What kind of "tuning" or modification to your controller will this allow?

Please excuse my ignorance, I'm a dyed in the wool gear-head trying to learn new tricks.   :-[
