Mounting a narrower handlebar
« on: May 08, 2019, 04:14:30 AM »

Hi !

I want to ship my Zero XU through France on a camping car.
The handlebar is actually too large. Did anybody mount a different handlebar on a Zero ?

You could also unbolt the handlebar, turn it sideways, and secure it with straps during transport. (Use M10 Allen key with a torque wrench)

Otherwise, I’d recommend using S handlebars, since they already have the right thickness through the middle and the predrilled holes to align the handle switchgear.

How about giving the ends of the bar the hacksaw treatment?  :-\ That is something that I would probably do.    ::)
