SR/F: Fault Code 8 during firmware update

Hi all,

what does "Fault Code 8" mean when firmware is being updated? I checked the manual and it says "Motor Controller Warning" which is not helpful. The bike behaves normally, it's just when I try to install firmware update it fails with this error.

it does not say that it fails with error 8 but it does. I have the same problem. It means the update is unsuccessful

Thank you! So, it is a known problem :( Do they even test these updates?? My bike is just one week old!

I am guessing they do not test the updates very well...  I'm in the same boat.

A minority of you appear to be experiencing issues, and we'd love to figure out why.
