Looks like the seat flange interferes with the charge flap? Since the flap is kinda flimsy it might still pop open…

It does make the flap difficult to open & close...I'm working with "Corbin" on a solution. It doesn't cause any major dramas though, just annoying.

Cheers,

I have a PDF for the energica Ribelle that basically came with the bike, it's the general users manual, with some maintenance stuff in the back of it.

would that be helpful?

Thanks for the offer.  The user manual came with the bike for me as well.

I was looking for the Rebelle service manual that the dealers get, and sometimes sell, but I am told Energica does not want that happening.

My local dealer does not even have his own copy of the service manual!  A little worrisome....

I had no problem getting both, the service manual and owner's manual in PDF sent to my email from the Energica dealer where I purchased my bike in Mt. View, CA (no longer there--now in Livermore, CA).

But that was for my 2020 Esse Esse 9.

What year model SS9..?? I may be able to help with most part numbers.

I suspect "new" parts availability from Energica will be essentially non-existent.

2020

I also bought crashed HD livewire few days ago - it has very good part catalog online with all the drawings, also If I put part number in google I get approximate price in USD or EUR, even my lawnmower tractor has similar catalog (stiga c300)

I wish we had something for energica

Even with used parts I dont have to describe every item or send pics, just send some numbers and get quote

What actual parts are you after..?? I may be able to help with getting part numbers at least....whether they're actually available or not is up for debate in the current climate.

If you are in the states, you could always try to call them, even overseas, I hear the main office in Italy is still working, have not verified it in person like in the US but give them a call, they might be able to help you.

I have a 2023 SS9 bought at auction w/o keys.   Looking for a service manual, and anyone that might know about programming a new key, happy to pay!

Thanks!

i think the keys are the same as used by ducatti, and  af1 in texas may have a few blanks left.

if you are not using the wireless, do you have to program them?  can't a dumb key work too?  because programming takes the orange key, which needs to  talk to the bike to activate / clear out the old so it will accept the new one.

This is a 2023 that uses the hands-free key.   (No slot for physical key, just a button)

It's a Zadi system which looks identical to the one used on the Ducati Diavel, but who knows if it's programmed the same.  The connectors on the hands-free module have 12 pins on the SS9 and looks like about half that on the Ducati unit.

im pretty sure that with the hands free, you will need the orange key to do anything with it.  it needs to see it to make sure you are the auth user trying to program etc if i am not mistaken.

reach out to energica usa, they may have a used hands free module they can send you to replace it.   without that master key it's pretty much bricked when it comes to changes.

do you know the bypass code?   factory default is 0000  give it a try.

Yeah, I guess the original owner didn't know about the code, it was set to 0000, so I can start the bike OK, and I can even change all the settings.   I was able to reset the PIN without any issues.    I had to pick the seat lock though, now I have a small string tied to the latch so I can open it in the future without picking.

I'd like to get an official key, for one, entering the PIN each time is a PITA.
