SR/F Heated Grips Question
« on: January 19, 2020, 12:01:41 PM »

I bought a standard SR/F but I wanted to upgrade the grips to the official OEM grips and I did.  I noticed that the left grip gets a lot hotter than the right one.  Is it because the right one controls the throttle and there wasn't enough room or something?  Anyone elses grips like this?

Interesting.  I've only used them a few times, but did not notice a difference between right and left sides.

Yup, my left grip definitely gets hotter than the right.

I was messing around with the ignition on the other day in the garage and the heated grips were set to maximum.
With my gloves off there was a noticeable difference between left and right.
I thought I was imagining things so I got my partner to test as well and she could also tell there was a difference between the two.

Out on the road I haven't noticed that my right hand feels colder so I guess it's pushing out enough heat to keep me happy.

I haven't noticed this on the road so with gloves. I do remember from my BMW that there was a difference noticeable with bear hands only. So yes this sounds plausible. Can't check on my zero since it's still in for repair.
