Just meet someone with a "NEW" Zero.  VIN ends in 12111.  He says its a 2020 model.  I remember seeing a list of VIN and production dates. Fairly certain someone posted that Zero got to 12300 with 2019 production. Maybe 2000 vehicles.  Anyone know?  What would be an approximate production date for 12111?

This might answer your question? Otherwise look at the vehicle title. The unofficial guide says the last 5 are yearly serial numbers, but I doubt that perfectly aligns with December production month (12111=December, 111th off the line that month). More likely, it was one of the last produced and got to the dealer late in the year. The dealer might have advertised it as a 2020, and that is what the seller is going off of.
